The National Association of Passenger Rail Operators (ANPTrilhos) met with Brazil’s Vice President, Hamilton Mourão on June 24 in Brasilia, the country’s capital, to formalize the delivery of the 2019-2022 Metro Rail Sector Governance Agenda. The meeting was attended by the Executive Vice President of ANPTrilhos, João Gouveia Ferrão Neto; the Vice President of Technology of the Association, José Cláudio Sicco; of the Board member of ANPTrilhos, Roberto Labarthe; and the Executive Director of the Association, Roberta Marchesi.

During the meeting, ANPTrilhos executives presented the Vice President with the main points of the Government Agenda and the actions under development by the Association.

The Government Agenda brings together the proposals of the sector for the elaboration of public policies during the period between 2019 and 2022 and is composed of priority proposals and five thematic axes, which are the main themes of this document. Are they:

• Prority Proposals
• Theme I – Institutional and Regulatory Environment
• Theme II – Operational Cost Reduction
• Theme III – Financing and Projects Feasibility
• Theme IV – Fee Modality
• Theme V – Sustainability
