Metrô de São Paulo, which is responsible for the subway network in the city of São Paulo, will have World Bank financing to hire a company to prepare the executive projects for the implementation of a new transit link between Consolação, Line 2-Green , and Paulista, Line 4-Yellow.

The preparation of this project will provide the necessary technical subsidies for the construction of a new underground passage that will increase the capacity of the free transfer of passengers between these stations, improving the flow of people’s movement.

The contracting and elaboration of the project will be financed through a credit operation obtained by the State Government from the World Bank for the construction of Phase 2 of Line 4-Yellow, whose works for the construction of four stations and expansion to Vila Sônia are in progress.
