CCR Metrô Bahia concluded the works for Line 2 of Salvador subway, in the State of Bahia, by the end of April. The line is now completed, with the delivery of the Airport Station, which will allow tourists and visitors arriving in the city through the International Airport of Salvador – Deputado Luís Eduardo Magalhães – to use the subway in their displacements.
With the inauguration, the subway system totals 33 km of extension, counting the two lines. The implementation of the modal has received R$ 5.6 billion in resources from the Government, including complementary works, such as stations, walkways, road links, bus terminals, among others that are part of the system. The project was concluded through a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) between the State Government of Bahia and the CCR Group.
