São Paulo has US$ 14 bi of investment potential with concessions and partnerships

The governor of São Paulo, Geraldo Alckmin, has said that there is a potential for “US$14 billion in investments with concessions and Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) in the State of São Paulo”. The statement was given during an event in New York, in May.

During the event, the governor has highlighted that the investments of the private sector are attractive in the State because of the good quality of the assets, among other reasons. At the beginning of July, the Government of São Paulo is going to launch the bidding notice of the concession of Metro’s Line 5 and the monorail Line 17 for the private sector. The Line 15 will also have its operation conceded. According to the governor, there will be an investment of R$2.7 billion on the train systems in São Paulo.
