The governor of the state of Piauí, in the Northeast of Brazil, has announced that Teresina’s metro (capital of the state) will be renovated and gain new trains. The renovation will be possible through a loan that the government got from Caixa Econômica Federal. Besides that, there will works for renovation in the eight stations of the system and there will be built four new stations.
The forecast is to begin the bidding process for the system’s renovation yet this year.
