The São Paulo Metro is adopting work in the Home Office strategy on a permanent basis. The measure will be offered to employees who perform activities that can be performed outside the company environment. At first, 600 employees are expected to join, allowing a cost reduction of over R$ 9 million per year.

In this first stage, the areas of Human Resources, Communication, Accounting, Planning, Legal, Infrastructure and Contracts will be covered. “The health and economic crisis caused by the Pandemic made us rethink the real need for the buildings intended for the work of the company’s employees. The productivity and interest shown by employees during this quarantine period allowed us to rethink the current office concept, bringing more flexibility to the company and the employee”, says Silvani Pereira, President of São Paulo Metro.
