The Companhia Paulista de Trens Metropolitanos (CPTM), which operates passenger trains in the Metropolitan Region of São Paulo, has opened an international tender for the concession of the provision of public transport service for its 8 – Diamond and 9 – Emerald lines. The tender provides for investments to upgrade, expand, adapt and modernize the infrastructure of the lines.
The concession will be 30 years long and the criteria for choosing the winner will be the one with the highest offer for granting the concession. The public session for receipt of proposals and opening will take place on March 2, 2021. The announcement and annexes are available free of charge on the website www.stm.sp.gov.br.
