The São Paulo Metro received the approval of a financing in the amount of US$ 550 million from the Development Bank of Latin American (CAF), which will contribute to the expansion works of Line 2-Green.
This resource will make up the budget for the expansion of the line, which reaches R$ 8.5 billion for the execution of works, implementation of systems and purchase of new trains. The expansion of this line is already underway, with works at all 8 stations that will be part of the new 8.3 km stretch between Vila Prudente and Penha.
