The two overpasses in the line 13-Jade, which will link Sao Paulo to Guarulhos International Airport, were completed in the first week of February.

Now, the services of the tracks, the installation of the aerial network system (responsible for transferring energy for the trains to circulate) and the implementation of the signaling system will be concluded. Then, the tests will be held with empty compositions for the line to start the operation at the end of March of this year.

Line 13-Jade is the first rail transport link with the Guarulhos region and will benefit the population that lives, works or studies in the city, as well as being a new transportation option to access the international airport, faster and economic, catering to tourists and professionals who come to Sao Paulo on business. The projection indicates that the new line should initially meet about 130 thousand passengers per business day.

With a total of 12.2 km, Line 13-Jade will have three stations: Guarulhos-Airport, Guarulhos-Cecap (new) and Goulart Engineer, which is the integration point with Line 12-Sapphira, which reaches center of Sao Paulo.
