National Association of Passenger Rail Operators – ANPTrilhos is a civil, non-profit, nationwide entity created with the objective of promoting the development and improvement of passenger rail transportation in Brazil.

In an integrated vision among operators, industries and entities of the sector, ANPTrilhos seeks to work solutions and technologies that can contribute to the improvement of urban mobility in our country, in a vision appropriate to the reality and needs of each of the Brazilian cities.

With headquarters in the Federal capital, Brasília/DF, ANPTrilhos already counts on nearly 100% of the metro rail operators of passengers in its membership, consolidating itself as the effective representative of the sector in Brazil.

ANPTrilhos’s role is based on the needs and desires of its members and users of its services, seeking, together with the Government and civil society, concrete projects for the development of the sector, as an element to contribute to the improvement of quality of Brazilian urban mobility.

In order to achieve its objective, ANPTrilhos maintains collaboration with the public authorities, promoting exchange of information and studies aimed at improving the national rail transport system, as well as the pertinent legislation. On the other hand, it encourages the exchange of technical and scientific information with related entities, aiming at the solution of common problems and the improvement of methods among the different governmental spheres and public bodies in general.
