Alstom was selected by the ViaMobilidade concessionaire to deliver 36 trains, with eight cars each, which will provide service on the lines 8-Diamond and 9-Emerald in São Paulo. The new trains are part of the package of improvements and obligations assumed by the concessionaire, which recently acquired responsibility for the operation and maintenance for 30 years of both metropolitan train lines.
