ITL (Institute of Transportation and Logistics) and SEST SENAT (Social Transport Service and National Transportation Learning Service), both entities of the System CNT (National Confederation of Transport), started on February 19 the first Brazilian course of International Certification in Management of Rail and Metro Rail Systems. The course is being held in Brasilia, the capital of Brazil, and has the cooperation of National Association of Passenger Rail Operators (ANPTrilhos).

The international certification course in railway management is unprecedented in the country and will provide an overview of the metro rail professionals, discussing technical, operational, management, leadership, economics and marketing aspects.

“This course is a unique opportunity to qualify the employees of the Brazilian rail transport operators and will contribute greatly to the formation and dissemination of new leadership in this area of transportation”, explained ANPTrilhos Director Conrado Grava de Souza during ceremony that marked the beginning of classes.

In addition to supporting the course, ANPTrilhos will also be part of the group of students, with the participation of the Superintendent of the Association Roberta Marchesi and representatives of metro rail operators. The course will be given by Deutsche Bahn, a renowned German group operating and providing passenger mobility and logistics services.
