ViaQuatro, the concessionaire responsible for the operation and maintenance of Line 4-Yellow of Sao Paulo’s Metro, completed six years of operation in October. Installed in the city of São Paulo, ViaQuatro is considered a successful case in PPP (Public Private Partnership). The operator is part of the ANPTrilhos membership board.

Recent surveys also show that Line 4-Yellow is the champion of satisfaction among users with approval ratings above 90%. Considered a reference for public transport and an important achievement in terms of efficiency and sustainability, ViaQuatro celebrates its development and good practices as a legacy for urban mobility.
“During these six years we have evolved in the operation, providing public transportation on rails with quality and safety for the users and we do not settle, we have gone further and committed ourselves to offer educational, cultural and social activities to passengers”, says Harald Zwetkoff, President of ViaQuatro and Institutional and Sustainability Director of ANPTrilhos.

From the beginning of the commercial operation, the concessionaire acts by uniting professional training to technological innovations that result in the provision of a quality service to users. In addition to being the first subway line in Latin America to adopt trains with the driverless system, the 4-Yellow Line was also pioneering to operate with platform doors, contributing significantly to the reduction of accidents and interruptions in the daily flow of the subway transport of São Paulo.
