São Paulo subway opens bid to buy trains and Line 17-Gold systems

The São Paulo State Metro Company (Metrô de São Paulo) has opened an international bid for the purchase of 14 trains and the implementation of signaling systems for the Monorail Line 17-Gold, which is being implemented in the city of São Paulo.

The contract will also include the installation of platform doors at the eight stations of the line, as well as equipment for the power supply system, track change devices and train maintenance.

When ready, the line will be 7.7 km connecting Congonhas Airport to Morumbi CPTM Station.
