The Government of the State of São Paulo published the Pluriannual Plan 2020-2023 (PPA), which foresees a series of investments for the State in several areas, such as health, education, urban mobility, transport and logistics, public security, social assistance, among others. others. The goals were published in the State Official Gazette on April 10, 2020.
For metropolitan transport, budget resources, Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) and other non-budgetary sources are foreseen. Most of the resources will be for expanding the rail network and managing PPPs. The goal is to increase the demand for trains, subways and the bus system to 3.39 billion tickets for metropolitan transport registered per year in 2023.
