The São Paulo Metro, operator of the São Paulo city subway network, started the implementation of a new maneuvering area for monorail Line 15-Silver trains, which will allow a reduction in the circulation interval between trains.
A further 380 meters of road will be built on the west side of Vila Prudente station, where a track switch will be installed, which is the device that makes the monorail change lanes. The expectation is that the new road will be ready in 2022 and will compose the future stretch of Line 15 to Ipiranga, which is in the elaboration phase of the executive project.
