The São Paulo Metro signed on January 13 the contract for the resumption of civil works on monorail Line 17-Gold. The work will be done by Constran and Metrô will discuss the work schedule with the company. In addition to the completion of the road, which is 86% complete, it will also finish the Pátio Água Espraiada and seven stations.

The priority section of the 17-Ouro has eight stations and 7.7 km in length, connecting Congonhas Airport, in the south zone of the city of São Paulo, to Morumbi station, of Companhia Paulista de Trens Metropolitanos (CPTM), connecting to the subway network at Campo Belo station (Line 5-Lilac).
