The Environmental Company of the State of São Paulo (Cetesb) granted the prior environmental license for the section Nébias – Valongo of the Light Rail of the Baixada Santista, a light rail vehicle system that operates between the cities of Santos and São Vicente, on the coast of the State from Sao Paulo.
The new stretch will be 8 km long and 14 stations. The executive project of the stretch is in the final revision phase. The estimated investment in civil works is R$270 million.
