Two new trains began operating at CPTM Line 11-Coral Express East (Luz-Guaianases) at the end of June. With this delivery, there are already 44 new compositions delivered from the lot of 65 compositions ordered. The trains that went into operation are from the 8500 series, manufactured by CAF.
With this, the CPTM continues the process of standardization of the fleet of all the lines, adapting the series of trains according to the operational necessity. The goal is to offer modern and air conditioned trains, providing more comfort to users. The forecast is that another 21 units will start operating gradually this year.
