Brasília subway receives award for solar power project in Colombia

The Metropolitan Company of the Federal District (Metrô-DF), which operates the subway system of Brasilia, capital of Brazil, received the annual award from the Latin American Association of Metros and Underground Systems (Alamys), in the Environment and Sustainability category, with the Solar Power Generation project of the Photovoltaic Stations in the Guariroba and Samambaia Sul metropolitan regions.

The awarding ceremony was made to the CEO of Metrô-DF, Handerson Cabral, during the 33rd General Assembly and the Annual Congress of the Latin American Metro and Underground Association, in Medellin, Colombia, at the beginning of December. The project was presented to the event participants.
