Companhia do Metropolitano do Distrito Federal (Metrô-DF), responsible for the Brasília subway, the capital of Brazil, opened two new stations: 106 South and 110 South. The stations are expected to benefit around 6 thousand passengers per day.

R$ 35.8 million was invested in the completion of the work on the stations and in the implementation of other systems, such as data transmission system, radio communication, ticketing, furniture, fire prevention facilities, visual and security communication, among others.

The Parangaba-Mucuripe Light Rail Vehicle, operated by Companhia Cearense de Transportes Metropolitanos (Metrofor), in Fortaleza, capital of the state of Ceará, also opened two stations, Yacht and Mucuripe. With that, the system starts to operate with 13.2 km of extension and ten stations, serving 22 neighborhoods and connecting with the South Line of the Fortaleza Metro.
