ANPTrilhos meets with the transition team of the Brazilian government

The National Association of Passenger Rail Operators (ANPTrilhos) participated in the meeting of member of the Federal Government transition team with entities in the mobility area, on the subject of cities, Jilmar Tatto. He is part of the team of the elected president of Brazil, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.

Among the subjects dealt with, the entities defended the continuity of discussions involving important advances in the area of mobility, such as the Legal Framework of Collective Public Transport, which is currently under public consultation.

“We took the opportunity to deliver the ANPTrilhos proposals for the development of passenger transport on rails, which are consolidated in the document: Proposals for the Advancement of National Urban Mobility”, explains Roberta Marchesi, Executive Director of ANPTrilhos.

Also participating in the meeting were the National Association of Urban Transport Companies (NTU); National Front of Mayors (FNP); National Association of Public Transport (ANTP); National Forum of Mobility Secretaries and Directors, and the National Association of Bus Manufacturers (FABUS).
