ANPTrilhos launches international newsletter

ANPTrilhos - logo-200pxThe National Association of Passenger Rail Operators (ANPTrilhos), a Brazilian civil non-profit entity, will launch its international newsletter. The newsletter will be published monthly and the first issue will be released in mid-February. The purpose of the initiative is to present to the foreign market the actions developed by the entity, as well as the current scenario of the rail passenger transportation market of Brazil.

Brazil’s passenger rail transportation sector handles almost 10 million passengers per day, with a total of 2.9 billion passengers per year. The country currently has 21 urban rail transportation systems, installed in 11 Brazilian states and in the Federal District.

With almost 7 years of operation, ANPTrilhos is headquartered in the federal capital, Brasília, and was created to promote the development and improvement of passenger rail transportation in Brazil. The entity brings together the operators of passenger transportation systems on rails, industries and entities of the sector.
