The operators of the metro-rail systems of Brazil, through the National Association of Passenger Rail Operators (ANPTrilhos), are carrying out the 2nd National Campaign for the Valorization of Passenger Transportation on Rail. The project goal is to raise awareness of society about the importance of rail transportation in urban mobility, in the quality of life of the population and in the environmental quality of cities.
The campaign is being developed since September and was divided in three stages that consider the integration of the modes of transportation, safety, speed, conscious use of the systems, sustainability and quality of life.
The campaign material was produced by the communication and marketing areas of the operators and consists on video, electronic banner and posts for social networks. The dissemination of the project is made by ANPTrilhos and its associates in the media, corporate websites, social networks, trains and stations.
“Our campaign goal is to show the population and rulers the economic, social and environmental benefits of the transportation of passengers on rail. Fast, efficient, safe and without emission of pollutants, rail transportation allows citizens to arrive faster to their destination, providing more time for leisure and family”, explains Roberta Marchesi, superintendent of ANPTrilhos.
