The advancement of mobility on rails will be the subject of an event with the Brazilian government

The expansion and improvement of passenger transport on rails in Brazil will be discussed with the new Federal Government of Brazil during the ANPTrilhos Mobility Forum, to be held on May 24, in Brasilia, the country’s capital. Organized by the National Association of Passenger Rail Operators, the event will discuss the main needs and challenges of urban mobility on rails in Brazil.

The President of the Republic, Luis Inácio Lula da Silva; the Vice-President, Geraldo Alckmin; the Minister of Cities, Jader Filho; the Minister of Transport, Renan Filho; and Chief of Staff, Rui Costa, among other Brazilian authorities, were invited to the Mobility Forum.

The Forum will feature four sectoral panels whose themes will be the development of urban metro-rail transport; the resumption of regional passenger trains; metropolitan transport authority as an agent for the development of structuring mobility; and the advancement of projects and attraction of investments.
