The Government of the State of São Paulo, through the Secretariat for Partnerships in Investments (SPI), published the public notice for the concession of the Intercities Train between the city of São Paulo and Campinas, in the countryside of the Brazilian state.
The TIC – North Axis project is an international tender for the construction and operation of the Intercities Train services (Express Service – TIC), the Intermetropolitan Train (TIM Service) and the operation, maintenance and works, with improved performance and quality of the service of Line 7-Ruby of Companhia Paulista de Trens Metropolitanos (CPTM).
The concession is for 30 years and the judgment criterion will be the lowest amount required by way of contribution, to be paid by the Granting Authority, and, secondarily, the highest discount on the amount of the payment for availability. The project will be a Public-Private Partnership (PPP).
Proposals must be delivered at the public session scheduled for November 28. The public notice and its annexes are available free of charge on the SPI website – www.parcerias.sp.gov.br, in the Data Room area of the “TIC Eixo Norte” concession.
