ANPTrilhos Associates participated in the Technical Training in Big Data in Asset Management, promoted by the Latin American Association of Subway and Underground (ALAMYS), in partnership with the National Association of Passenger Rail Operators (ANPTrilhos), Companhia Paulista de Trens Metropolitanos (CPTM) and the Association of Metro Engineers and Architects (AEAMESP), in March, in São Paulo (SP).
The training aimed to share knowledge on the use of Big Data for the most efficient management of companies. The Deutsche Bahn Rail Academy, an organization of the German group Deutsche Bahn (DB), was responsible for the course content.
On the first day of the course, an exclusive seminar was held for the Presidents and Directors of the metro-rail systems. ANPTrilhos Executive Vice President, João Gouveia, took part in the opening ceremony of the seminar.
“The evolution of systems and applications that involve the future of mobility is happening very fast and keeping up to date is essential to seek, in technology, the evolution of the service provided to passengers. And it is the role of ANPTrilhos to provide its members, either directly or through partnerships, with opportunities to keep themselves updated and generate value for the passenger transport service on rails. We hope it will be a profitable course and that the experiences learned here can contribute to the evolution of our companies”, said João Gouveia.
