The São Paulo Metro arrives at the São José dos Campos Technological Park (PqTec) with the implementation of Metrohub, which is the Innovation Hub in Mobility, for research and development, training of professionals, in addition to interaction with innovative actions.
The Metrô will start its activities taking to the park projects that must be developed by December 2023, for the Engineering and Operations areas. The projects will include research and development of innovations for the consumption telemetry system and leak detection applied to lines 1-Blue, 2-Green and 3-Red; Use of infiltration water; Adoption of precast tunnels of the NATM type (Austrian method); Train braking energy recovery system.
Currently, Metrô develops innovation projects such as the use of artificial intelligence for maintenance and others for administrative use.
The São José dos Campos Technological Park is one of the largest innovation and entrepreneurship complexes in Brazil. It is located in the interior of the State of São Paulo, in the Vale do Paraíba region.
