It is scheduled for April 20, the public session to receive the international bid proposals for the concession of the provision of the public transport service for lines 8-Diamante and 9-Esmeralda of Companhia Paulista de Trens Metropolitanos (CPTM), which operates passenger trains in the Metropolitan Region of São Paulo. The auction was scheduled for March 2 and has been postponed.
The concession will 30 years long and the criterion for choosing the winner will be the one with the highest offer for granting the concession. The tender provides for investments to upgrade, expand, adapt and modernize the infrastructure of the lines.
