Metro de São Paulo opened a Request for Expression of Interest for companies to prepare tools for estimating and simulating growth and variation of number of passengers. Interested companies must submit their proposals by September 10.
Although the Request for Expression of Interest is the responsibility of Metro de São Paulo, the work should cover all transport modes in Sao Paulo metropolitan area, including subway, monorail, urban train and bus lines. The survey will help the Metropolitan Transportation Secretariat of the State of São Paulo to forecast service needs and direct investments, as well as make operational adjustments, such as changes on bus lines and integration points. The resources for the payment of services will come from the World Bank.
