The government of the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais opened the public consultation on the Belo Horizonte Metro concession project. Interested parties may submit proposals for improvements and alterations to the studies and documents about the project until December 10th. The Belo Horizonte Metro is operated by the Companhia Brasileira de Trens Urbanos (CBTU), of the Federal Government.
The project includes the modernization and expansion of Line 1 and the construction of Line 2, with services operating for 30 years. It was structured by the National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES) and is being conducted in partnership with the Federal Government.
Information about the concession, the form and the regulation with the form of participation in the public consultation are available on the website of the State Secretariat for Infrastructure and Mobility (Seinfra) and on the portal of the PPP Unit of the Government of Minas Gerais.
