The Ministry of Infrastructure (MInfra), through the Department of Planning, Management and Special Projects (DPLAN) of the National Land Transport Secretariat (SNTT), opened the Public Consultation on the National Policy for Rail Passenger Transport, on December 15. The document was prepared in partnership with the National Association of Passenger Rail Operators (ANPTrails).
The public consultation aims to gather contributions to the definition of the elements of the National Policy for Rail Passenger Transport, which will encompass the actions necessary for the development of rail passenger transport in Brazil.
Contributions can be submitted until January 28, 2022. The documents referring to the National Policy for Rail Passenger Transport are available on the Ministry of Infrastructure website.
