The stations of MetrôRio, operator of the Metro in the city of Rio de Janeiro, started to have in their names the neighborhoods where they are located to facilitate the location of passengers, especially tourists. The names of the neighborhoods will be added next to the already known nomenclature of each station. On Line 1, for example: Uruguay / Tijuca.
Due to the changes in the nomenclatures, the concessionaire will replace the visual, digital and sound communication, adding the new identification in the compositions and stations of the subway system.
