The São Paulo Metro signed the contract for the marketing study of Line 19-Celeste, which will connect Guarulhos, a city in the São Paulo Metropolitan Region, to downtown São Paulo. The study must present the subsidies of the line’s potential and the best form of commercial and real estate exploration of future stations.
The implementation of Line 19 is in the Basic Project stage. The Line will have 17.6 km of operational extension and 15 stations in the initial stretch, with the forecast of five stations in Guarulhos and the others in São Paulo. Initial studies estimate a demand of almost 600,000 people per day on this stretch.
