São Paulo Metro intends to acquire new trains from next year, in quantity not yet defined. The information was given by the director of operations of the São Paulo Metro, Milton Gioia, during the annual meeting of the CoMET (Comunity of Metros), held in November in São Paulo.
During his presentation, the director showed that between 2005 and 2018, the number of passengers transported in the subway network of the state capital increased by 102%, reaching the mark of 5 million per day.
