ANPTrilhos celebrates 7 years of foundation

The National Association of Passenger Rail Operators (ANPTrilhos) has completed 7 years of foundation. The entity, created in 2010, has the goal of foment the development and the improvement of passenger rail transportation in Brazil.

Fast, efficient and with no pollutant emission, the rail passenger transport systems contribute for the quality of life of the population and the environmental quality in the cities. Without traffic interference, the urban rails allow the people to arrive faster at their destination, enjoying more time for leisure activities, study and family life.

It is ANPTrilhos’ role to encourage quality urban mobility in the Brazilian cities through the adoption and enlargement of rail transport networks, disseminating the benefits of such transportation.
