The first train of the eight-unit lot acquired in China by the São Paulo State Government to run Line 13-Jade of the São Paulo Metropolitan Train Company (CPTM) has arrived at the Port of Santos, on the São Paulo coast. The 13-Jade urban train line connects Guarulhos International Airport with São Paulo City Center.
The Temoinsa-Sifang consortium won the international bid with the presentation of the best proposal for the manufacture of the eight trains. The acquisition of this fleet is being financed with funds from the European Investment Bank (EIB).
